THE INCONVENIENCE OF USING AN EXTERNAL SCOOP-LEVELLING UTENSIL TO LEVEL SCOOPS IN FEED PREPARATION (Click to view more)
EASY AND ACCURATE ONE HAND LEVELLING

The Scoop Levelling Facility Incorporated In The Scoop Storage Platform
Traditionally, scoops are levelled with an external scoop-levelling utensil, such as a knife. Then, feed preparation involves a series of juggling act and it is a time-consuming and inconvenient process.

The Scoop Storage Platform has been designed to present a straight edge to serve as a means to level a scoopful of powder (which facility is herein referred to as "The Levelling Edge"), as illustrated below.

HOW THE LEVELLING EDGE SERVES TO LEVEL A SCOOPFUL OF POWDER SWIFTLY AND EFFORTLESSLY, WITH JUST ONE HAND. IT IS EQUALLY CONVENIENT FOR LEFT-HANDERS
STEP1 : LEVELLING A SCOOPFUL

A generous scoop of powder is taken

STEP 2: LEVELLING A SCOOPFUL

A scoop filled with powder is drawn
outwardly from under the Levelling Edge of the platform

STEP 3: LEVELLING A SCOOPFUL

The scoopful of powder is levelled accurately,
swiftly and effortlessly with just one hand, without the
need for any external scoop-levelling utensil, such as a knife.

It will be apparent that the scoop levelling is performed by simply overfilling a measuring scoop and then drawing the scoop outwardly from the container under the Levelling Edge, so that the excess formula powder is raked off the scoop and falls down into the container. There will be no spillage problem anymore.

The Levelling Edge not only removes the excess infant formula powder but also gently fills the scoop to ensure that it is completely full, so that the measure is neither slightly more nor slightly less than the capacity of the scoop.

A scoop can now be levelled accurately, swiftly and effortlessly with just one hand, without any need to use an external scoop-levelling utensil. The juggling steps needed to prepare a feed with an external levelling utensil are now eliminated and the time taken to prepare a proper feed is reduced tremendously.

All the problems of spillage, contamination and the inconveniences associated with the use of an external scoop-levelling utensil are completely eradicated by this Invention. Feed preparation at night is now so much less demanding and the risk of wrong scoop counts should be resolved.

THE INCONVENIENCE OF USING AN EXTERNAL
SCOOP-LEVELLING UTENSIL TO LEVEL SCOOPS IN FEED PREPARATION

Preparing a feed with an external scoop-levelling utensil is inconvenient and time consuming,
involving a repeating process of juggling with hands, feeding bottle, scoop and levelling utensil

The traditional practice of using an external scoop-levelling utensil, such as a knife, to level scoops of powder in formula preparation involves a repeating process of juggling with hands, feeding bottle, scoop and levelling utensil. This is a rather inconvenient and time-consuming task. Besides, the juggling process can also lead mothers to make wrong scoop counts.

During the feed preparation process, the knife will normally be left on the preparation table and powder tends to drop off the knife onto the table. Spillages left on the table tend to attract vermin like cockroaches, lizards, and ants, which may even try to get into the can of powder. Formula powder is rich in nutrient and if the spillage is not cleaned promptly, bacteria will flourish. An unhealthy environment is created as a result.

Furthermore, the levelling utensil needs to be washed, sterilized, and kept clean and dry before each use. This adds to the workload of a busy mother.

The Problems Are Exacerbated At Night
The problems and inconvenience associated with the use of an external levelling utensil is faced in every feed prepared. These problems are exacerbated in the preparation of night feeds, when the mother is tired and sleepy. The risk of wrong scoop counts is increased, especially if the hungry baby is crying for a feed and the mother gets anxious.
